33 Talented Students from 16 Countries Unite for a Global Music Festival Featuring 6 Spectacular Concerts and International Master Classes


Vilnius, Lithuania— August 3 - 8, 2025 — The world of music is about to witness a spectacular fusion of cultures, talents, and melodies at the upcoming Vivace Vilnius International Summer Music Festival, a unique music festival featuring 33 exceptional students from 16 different countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Romania, Scotland, Switzerland, Ukraine and United States of America. The festival will feature prominent musicians and professors such as violinist Boris Brovtsyn, pianists Petras Geniušas and Mūza Rubackytė, cellist David Geringas, and will showcase the talents of emerging musicians across six thrilling concerts, creating an unforgettable global experience.


The Vivace Vilnius International Summer Music Festival scheduled to take place from August 3rdtill 8th, offers a platform for young artists to celebrate their passion for music while collaborating with like-minded musicians from around the globe. With performances spanning multiple genres — from classical to contemporary, romantic to modern — the festival promises to captivate audiences with a diverse and dynamic musical journey.


Global Talent and Diversity

This year’s lineup is composed of 14 guest artists and 33 gifted students who have honed their craft in prestigious music programs from around the world. Representing 16 countries across four continents, the students bring an impressive range of musical traditions, instruments, and performance styles. Their dedication to their art will be on full display during the festival, where they will not only perform individually but also collaborate with one another to create unique, cross-cultural musical experiences.

Six Unforgettable Concerts

The festival will feature six major concerts, each spotlighting different aspects of the faculty, guest artists, and student’s musical journey. The performances will take place at Vilnius Town Hall, Samuel Bak Museum and Organum Concert Hall, and will be open to both local and international audiences. The concert series promises to be a vibrant celebration of both individual talent and collective harmony, with each performance serving as a testament to the power of music in connecting people across cultural boundaries.

· August 3, 5 PM: “Po Čiurlionio žvaigžde” — Opening Concert Dedicated to M. K. Čiurlionis 150 Years Anniversary

· August 5, 7 PM: “Voice Duets” — World Music Fusion: Exploring Cultural Diversity - Journey Through Late Romantic and Early Modern Song, performed by pianist Christina Wright Ivanova (USA / Canada), bass-baritone Simon Robinson (Great Britain / Germany) and five singers from around the world with Lithuanian pianist Inga Vyšniauskaitė

· August 6, 7 PM: “Dedication to Čiurlionis”  — A laureate of multiple international competitions and renowned for her expressive artistry and powerful interpretations, Mūza Rubackytė will perform a program that feater Čiurlionis, Šerkšnytė, Debussy, Chopin and Liszt.

· August 7, 5 PM: Music Unites The World — Vivace Villnius ISMF Violinists Concert Dedicated to Samuel Bak

· August 7, 8 PM: Piano Grand Show — Piano Music Celebrations from Across the Globe by Vivace Vilnius ISMF Pianists

· August 8, 7 PM: Grand Trio Vilnius — Final Gala Performance: An Evening with Grand Trio Vilnius - Petras Geniušas, piano, Dalia Kuznecovaitė, violin, and David Geringas, cello

Each concert will feature both group performances and solo pieces, allowing the audience to witness the wide-ranging musical abilities of professional virtuosos and these young musicians. The collaboration between students from different backgrounds will bring a unique sense of harmony and unity to every concert.


Cultural Exchange and Artistic Growth

The festival is more than just a series of performances — it is a rare opportunity for these talented students to grow as artists while learning from one another’s cultures and musical traditions and taking master classes from the internationally acclaimed faculty. Throughout the week, participants will engage in workshops, masterclasses, and collaborative rehearsals, enhancing their technical skills and artistic expression.

Three of the six performances are free. Tickets for the Opening Concert, “From Remembrances to Exaltations” and Final Gala Concert are available now and can be purchased online at www.bilietai.lt.
