Clebratory 100th Vivace Vilnius concert, taking place on Sunday, August 2, at 5:00 PM in Vilnius Town Hall.

This special occasion will be marked by a solo recital from Mūza Rubackytė, one of Lithuania’s most distinguished pianists and an internationally acclaimed virtuoso. Celebrated for her exceptional artistry and profound musical insight, Rubackytė has performed in many of the world’s leading concert halls across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. For decades, she has been recognized as one of the foremost interpreters of the music of Franz Liszt, earning widespread critical acclaim for her recordings and performances. Her artistry combines technical brilliance, intellectual depth, elegance, and emotional intensity, captivating audiences around the globe.

Born in Lithuania and based in both Lithuania and France, Mūza Rubackytė has built an extraordinary international career, appearing with major orchestras and at prestigious festivals worldwide. She is a laureate of numerous international competitions and has received some of the highest honors in Lithuanian and French cultural life. Beyond her concert career, she is deeply committed to promoting musical excellence and nurturing young talent through educational initiatives and masterclasses. Her contribution to the international classical music scene has made her one of Lithuania’s most respected cultural ambassadors.

Mūza Rubackytė’s performance will symbolically crown the first hundred Vivace Vilnius concerts and stand as a memorable milestone in the festival’s history.

Vivace Vilnius Art Song Gala

On Wednesday, 5 August, at 7:00 PMSt. Catherine’s Church (Šv. Kotrynos bažnyčia) in Vilnius will host the concert “Vivace Vilnius Art Song Gala.”

Following their tremendous success at last year’s festival, the charismatic bass-baritone Simon Robinson and pianist Christina Wright Ivanova return to Vivace Vilnius by popular demand. Their previous appearance received enthusiastic acclaim from both audiences and critics, making their return one of the most anticipated events of this year’s festival.

The artists will present a refined programme of vocal chamber music, where poetry, musical sensitivity, and the highest level of interpretative artistry come together in an intimate and captivating musical experience.
