Vilija Kuprevičienė has been singing since an early age. She had wonderful teachers such as A. Petrulienė, R. Pranckevičiūtė, J. Čiurilaitė while studying at J.Tallat- Kelpša AMM (currently Vilnius Conservatoire) and Vilnius State Conservatoire (currently LMTA) . Later she received her coaching training from R. Tumuliauskaitė in Germany. While studying, she won prizes in quite a few competitions. Vilija Kuprevičienė has interests outside music – in 2006 she successfully graduated from Vilnius University with a Bachelor’s degree .
Vilija Kuprevičienė performs in concerts as a solo singer and as a member of various ensembles and LNOBT choir. She sings solo in the following operas: “The Marksman”, “Boris Godunov” and “Madame Butterfly”. V. Kuprevičienė has been to Israel, Poland, Macao, China, Germany, Estonia and Latvia on concert tours. Vilija Kuprevičienė and her daughter the flutist Ieva Otilija Kuprevičiūtė’s concerts enjoy great popularity.
